POTENTIAL
God defines our potential; we determine it.
His Part:
Ephesians 2:10 tells us, ‘For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’
Our Part:
1 Corinthians 15:10 says, ‘But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.’
To win in life is to live up to our potential.
Even in our blunders, our potential is like a north star that beckons us to get back on course.
Let’s not let what we’ve done have the final say in who we become. If you’re walking through the consequences of past mistakes, be encouraged. We all make mistakes.
If we’re a willing student, failure is a great teacher.
Who we are is God’s gift to us. Who we become is our gift to God.
God defines our potential; we determine it.
