On Chatter
Observation. The one doing all the talking is often the one who’s not growing.
Constant chatter indicates an underlying level of fear, insecurity, and a craving for acceptance.
The irony is that until we stop talking, start listening and take a genuine interest in the well-being of others, we stunt our own personal growth.
Philippians 2:3-5, ‘Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…’ (NIV)
