Isaac Newton said, ‘What goes up must come down.’

Jesus says, ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ (John 10:10)

They’re both a reality. Gravity pulls us down, giving us weight by pulling us toward the center of the earth. God calls us higher, toward a life of fullness and fulfillment, into His original intent.

Herein lies the struggle. Gravity isn’t our enemy. It’s the gravity-like forces in life that ceaselessly create resistance, opposing the fullness that God inspires within.

That’s why neutral is not an effective strategy. Nor is surrender.

Proverbs 24:16 tells us, ‘The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.’ (NLT)

Is today the day for you to get back up, to re-engage in the battle for more?

Let’s keep reaching and persevering for that which our Creator invites us into; the fullness of life in Christ.
