Isaac Newton said, ‘What goes up must come down.’
Jesus says, ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ (John 10:10)
They’re both a reality. Gravity pulls us down, giving us weight by pulling us toward the center of the earth. God calls us higher, toward a life of fullness and fulfillment, into His original intent.
Herein lies the struggle. Gravity isn’t our enemy. It’s the gravity-like forces in life that ceaselessly create resistance, opposing the fullness that God inspires within.
That’s why neutral is not an effective strategy. Nor is surrender.
Proverbs 24:16 tells us, ‘The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.’ (NLT)
Is today the day for you to get back up, to re-engage in the battle for more?
Let’s keep reaching and persevering for that which our Creator invites us into; the fullness of life in Christ.
‘Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.’
– Ephesians 3:20-21
