This week was super busy, and all week long I’ve been looking forward to being back @lifepointnv today.
Today’s teaching is less a ‘message’ and more of an effort to facilitate a ‘moment’ with God for everyone present.
When we experience a moment with God; where he shows up and does something supernatural in our life, it kind of ruins us for anything less. After seeing God do for us what we could never do for ourselves, we go to the Scriptures craving for another moment with Him.
WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST STRUGGLE?
Today, we didn’t shout it out or vocalize it, we just privately called it what it is, our struggle. Then we read the following:
Psalm 34:8 ‘Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.’ (NIV)
What’s the context of this verse? We backed up and read:
Psalm 34:4-7 ‘I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.’ (NIV)
Regarding our struggle, we asked, ‘WHAT IF GOD ____________?’ What if he set us free, showed us the way through, did something so great that our struggle, our issue was no longer an issue?
Do you believe God is able? Do you believe He’d love to ____________?
BRING YOUR GREATEST STRUGGLE TO GOD AND CALL ON HIM FOR THE BREAKTHROUGH.
Psalm 34:17-18 ‘The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ (NIV)
Keep calling out, keep trusting, continue to do what He says, and perhaps instantly, and most likely, over time, when it comes to your greatest struggle, you’ll see God bring breakthrough!
